The Commercial Actor Who Couldn't Make A Video
Confession time. I've worked on-camera in dozens of TV commercials for the likes of the U.S. Army, Pringles, McDonald's, AT&T, and other big name brands ...
But it hadn't even occurred to me to use video to grow my business!
As I mentioned I'd had to overcome crippling anxiety as a performer and that same painful, stifling fear cropped up all over again when I faced making a video to share my message and get clients.
It's just so damn vulnerable. What if it sucks? What if I make a fool of myself? What if people judge me or think I'm "unprofessional"...
Because of all those fears, I simply *quit* making videos before I even started!
I've worked with hundreds of other coaches, healers, authors and experts who have shared that they have the same -- sometimes inexplicable! -- fear or resistance when it comes to being on video.
Once I realized what was really holding me back I knew I had a decision to make... stay stuck or move forward. In order to move forward I knew it would come down to transforming the fear. Again.
